Alopecie je stav, který nezasahuje jen vlasy, ale i prožívání vlastní identity. Ztráta vlasů je často vnímána jako ohrožení estetiky, mládí či zdraví, a přináší s sebou nejistotu i nutnost nově definovat vztah k vlastnímu tělu. Série fotografií se dotýká právě tohoto rozhraní – okamžiku, kdy se tělesná změna stává výzvou k přijetí sebe sama, ale také odhaluje tlak kulturních norem, které s vlasy spojují krásu, ženskost či vitalitu. Nemluví jen o ztrátě, ale i o proměně – o hledání nových definic krásy, identity a lidské důstojnosti.

Alopecia is a condition that affects not only hair, but also one's sense of identity. Hair loss is often perceived as a threat to aesthetics, youth, or health, and brings with it uncertainty and the need to redefine one's relationship with one's own body. This series of photographs touches on precisely this interface—the moment when physical change becomes a challenge to accept oneself, but also reveals the pressure of cultural norms that associate hair with beauty, femininity, and vitality. It speaks not only of loss, but also of transformation—of the search for new definitions of beauty, identity, and human dignity.
