Our book (self-published, Sept 2023) is a collection of minimalistic digital, and poignant pinhole photographs we took over 2 years during confinement. The choice of the two techniques reflects our style and preference, but most importantly, the main motif of the book: the spirit of this place, suspended between past and present. We also included a short fictional prose about the contemplative experience of walking around in Vysehrad, printed along some of the photos.The digital and pinhole images were taken and edited by Miro and myself, respectively. The pinhole images were taken on paper, developed at home. The camera used was a Ranica Cubo,10x10. We counted on the mentorship of a dear friend and photography professor, Ligia Berg (AR/ES), the review of photographers David Gaberle (CZ), and Eefje Ludwig (NL), to help us find our focus in the initial stages of the sequencing phase.

We are a photography duo based in Prague, Czech Republic - Giulia (@juli_analogue), Miro (@miresk). We are part of a small group of CZ based photographers and we exhibited in Prague and solo, in Europe and abroad. We are passionate about photography, having joined several workshops and had experience with darkroom techniques. We are a designer and a web developer by profession, in our mid-thirties.
